Fixing an age-old problem
Solving misunderstood PA announcements and mispronounced names in automated calls worldwide
About

We’re a New Zealand-based startup focused on modernizing live PA announcements in airports, train stations, resorts, and other busy public-facing environments.
Around the world, people’s names are regularly mispronounced, and spoken PA announcements are still often repeated or misunderstood, wasting time and affecting the overall experience. EasyAnnounce was created to help solve this global problem.
By combining machine learning, our own technology, and modern text-to-speech systems, we’re building tools that help organisations automate voice communication, from PA announcements to AI-powered calling workflows. This includes clearer pronunciation of names from around the world and translated announcements when needed.
Our vision
"If your message matters, the name matters too."
We believe PA announcements have been manual for too long, and that clear name pronunciation has been overlooked. Our vision is to help organisations move beyond inconsistent, hard-to-understand paging with clearer, more modern voice communication across languages and regions.

The road so far
The idea is born
After the initial shock that so many people were manually pronouncing names around the world, work began on the how to solve the problem
First milestone - training the model
After much R&D, a complete project reset, and 100s of hours of machine learning, our first model and audio pipeline was ready
Cloud Infrastructure and API design
Progress was made on building a secure and functional REST API & cloud platform
Web app and resiliency testing
The front-end of the product took shape and the platform's performance was evaluated
Second milestone - Model v2
The model and logic was refined and re-trained on improved datasets
The API gateway takes shape ready for launch
The API and secure gateway logic were further refined and secured
"Our names are all important, so let's use technology to help keep them that way."
